Every pair of Clarks shoes destined for the United States, Canada and South America is stored, processed and handled by our experienced and caring team members at our facility in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Operations Manager

It's the job of the Operations Manager to make sure that the vital link-in-the chain, the distribution part of our business, is structured and resourced in the right way, and plays its part in the overall picture efficiently and effectively. You'll be responsible for ensuring team collaboration across shifts as it relates to meeting required production rates and directing shift staff to optimize focus to ensure we meet our customers' requirements and provide a quality product in a timely manner.

You will lead and mentor a team of Area Managers who look after the Logistics Center day and night. They make sure that all our operational targets are met - or that we go beyond the number of pairs we ship. Along with your team, you will help create a positive, fun and safe environment.

Area Manager

The Area Manager is responsible for a whole shift in the Logistics Center. It's up to you to make sure that products are coming into and going out of the site as planned, that the right people are in the right place at the right time, that we are meeting all compliance standards and that downtime is minimized. It also means managing and motivating all the members of the team on the shift, so that they're performing at their best.

You've got to be quick to react in this job. Schedules can - and do - change at a moment's notice and thinking on your feet is a necessity. You'll need to let teams know of any changes and encourage them to get things moving, when they need to move.

You'll be in charge of recruiting and developing a team of Leads and Operatives. You'll also have lots of contact with other key departments in the Logistics Center, including the Control Room team, Human Resources and the Senior Operations Managers.

Lead

Our Leads support Area Managers and our Logistics Center Associates as required, ensuring all safety and production goals are met or exceeded on a daily basis by providing support, training, and guidance on various operational tasks and programs. As an essential element of their job, Leads monitor the flow of work to guarantee we are operating at maximum capacity, which translates into satisfied customers and motivated Associates.

Sometimes it's necessary to step up to cover for a member of the management team, so it's a great development role if you're looking to climb up the Clarks career ladder.

Operative

Our Logistics Center is a state-of-the-art facility full of the latest technology and automation. But it would come to a grinding halt if it wasn't for the people working here. Our Logistics Center Operatives take care of any one of a number of jobs in this busy hub.

You'll turn your hand to stock in-take, picking, packing, sorting and shipping - what you do changes on a daily basis. But whatever the task at hand, your job is vital to getting our products into our floor from suppliers and back out again to our stores and customers across the world. And all with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency, helping to keep the entire center operation running super-smoothly.

Because our center is open seven days a week, there's a shift system in place, with a number of different working patterns on offer.

Logistics Coordinators

Within our Logistics Center, we have a tremendous support team that works hard to ensure that our product is delivered in a timely and responsible manner. Our Logistics Coordinators support a multi-shift and site operation for inbound and outbound transportation activities.

As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for the creation of outbound shipments. You will collaborate with the Logistics Operational teams to build loads, prepare necessary documentation for outbound shipments and ensure Yard activities are running smoothly. Lastly, you will be in charge of ensuring compliance with US Customs and other government agencies.
