"Clarks allows for a casual work environment, but always presents new challenges as the company grows and changes every year."

Q: What made you get into the shoe business?

A: My background is in planning and, through connections, I was put in touch with Clarks and decided shoes were a lot more fun than planning rugs and mattresses!

Q: What do you enjoy about working at Clarks?

A: The friendly culture, the people I get to work with every day and the company's desire to deliver the best product to customers. Oh, and the employee shoe discount!

Q: How long have you been with us? What makes you stay at Clarks?

A: Five years in total. I left after three years but within less than a year, I was back. I missed the people and an environment that I felt I fit into as myself. I enjoy the planning process and due to seasonal product changes ranging from trends to channel sell in strategies, it makes the planning process challenging and rewarding in a different way each season. Part of the Clarks culture is its core values, which enables me to have a voice and an opinion.

Q: What is the best part about working at Clarks?

A: Clarks allows for a casual work environment, but always presents new challenges as the company grows and changes every year. It keeps your mind and your interests constantly evolving and there are opportunities to offer your insight and opinion to help improve processes.

Q: How many pairs of shoes do you have?

A: 60ish ... but there's always room for more!
